Good lube isn't optional — it's the difference between a decent session and a great one. Choose across water-based, silicone, hybrid, and specialty formulas, led by Australia-made Wet Stuff and international specialists.

Lubricants Guide

Water-based lube

The all-rounder. Safe with every toy material (silicone, TPE, latex), easy to clean, washes out of fabric. A good default. Water-based dries faster than silicone, but a spritz of water reactivates most formulas.

Silicone-based lube

Lasts longer, doesn't dry, and works in water — ideal for shower play, long sessions, and serious glide. The one rule: never use silicone lube with silicone toys. It degrades the surface over time. Perfect with TPE strokers, glass, metal, and skin-to-skin.

Hybrid and specialty lubes

Hybrid lubes split the difference — mostly water-based with a small silicone fraction for extra longevity, usually still silicone-toy-safe. Check the label. Anal-specific lubes run thicker and cling longer; we generally recommend against numbing formulas — pain is information, and you want to feel what your body's telling you. Flavoured lubes are formulated for taste and safety. Oil-based lubes feel great but aren't latex-condom safe and can stain fabric.

Matching lube to your setup

Match lube to toy material, check latex compatibility if you use condoms, and patch-test any new formula on your inner wrist first. When in doubt, water-based is the safe starting point.
